To set the sled so every class goes 320 + feet is an artificial way of leveling the power of each category and defies the purpose of having low HP and high HP classes.

Form wire (soft). Tig welded no add on. Make a jig the size of the groove ID. Will end up costing you more than what they charge for but you can make them as you need them. Have fun.

Dad took me to my first pull I was 6 months old. That's 50 years ago. Was in Louisville with him and my oldest son last February planning the new build. Best time ever.

Made just finished a couple hours ago. Awsome event. Charles and Linda laid down 3 super passes and showed the Euro crowd what a GN Pro Stock Champion can do! Thanks to the both of them for making me part of it! Great times with great people.

One could argue the whole time we pulled it... But it took two years before it fired if that's what your question is. Jeff and crew finished the true development of what we started and hats off to them. And it was in the STX component from the get go. The 7240 was a 1066 tractor chassis.
Not to beat a dead horse but the rule was not grey or off white when we built it. It clearly said in

Not so. The rule clearly said at the time that ANY ag engine was allowed in the SSO class at the GN level only, which was irrelevant since SSO was only offered there. And if I remember correctly, it was also allowed in DSS at the GN level only. We didn't play in a grey area. Anyone who was around at the time knows this.

NTPA did not change the rule to accommodate us. The 4WD engine was legal with NTPA when we built it. There was discussion at the NTPA meeting that year but the rule stayed as it had been for a while. The vote thing was PPL at Louisville a year or two later and that made the rules the same between the two clubs. And those who know us know we don't have deep enough pockets to "orient" the r

Funny you mention that. I have a box of pulling shirts, some never worn, that date back to the late 70's. My 8 and 4 year old sons wanted to go through them and we did a couple weeks back. I have a youth size Future Puller NTPA tshirt from that era that my youngest will be wearing next Summer. Kinda cool.

Jake, don't know why you bother... Always some that will put down anyone who do things they know they will never be able to achieve. Anyone who realy knows what it takes will appreciate it. Most fans appreciate it. They're the ones that matter. Big congrats to Jason!

Congrats to Jason and his crew. That was the best pass I've seen in a long time. Sounded like it turned about 2000 RPM more than anyone else in the class! Great machine and great run. Congrats again.

Are they going to run heads up? The local club here is thinking of doing a SF/Light PS combo type class and maybe even some 466 in there but I think they are looking at different weight for different combos.
