I could make you a adapter since I have mine apart. I made my adapter 10 years or maybe even longer ago. It's not as nice as some of the others. I also have a 8.3 flywheel for a small bell Minneapolis for a 3 dick.

I agree with you, why exclude these engines? R&D is expensive, but eventually it will happen.
Tell me about it!

7110, 7120 on up came with an 8.3 in them. What I don't understand about the IH guys is: it's ok to run a 706, 806 etc rearend (d282 or d361 is the engine in those) its ok to run one of those rearends with a dt466 in front of it with Magnum or MX sheet metal. Talk about a gray area. Yet if a guy wants to update to an 8.3 Cummins the heavens and the earth ha

If you can't feed it the cubic inches is a waste. You can have the biggest engine out there, you limit the air and fuel a smaller engine will prevail. Not hating and I love the red and green but there's other colors that other folks like too.

The truth is the red green show are afraid of the other colors hence the cling to the 466. What I find interesting is they can swap a truck engine in or a combine engine in but as soon as an off color swaps something in they are first to jump up and down and cry. Who cares about cubic inches. Police it with the charger and fuel system and use a GOOD RPM monitoring system.

And a scribed line isn't? Every pump I ever messed with would return itself to port closing which is where the builder scribes his line and pointer.

Fill #1 with fuel or a good penetrating oil, rotate the pump in ditection of rotation slowly. When the pump squirts, back it up to just before it squirted. You just found your line.
