Ulmer's rides are definitely light, and they definitely know 706 rears. I talked to Allen a few years back, and he was not only extremely knowledgeable but also very friendly and happy to help people that ask. Keep in mind that their 706 based tractors run, what I'll call, an exo-skeleton tube frame that goes beyond the axle. The hitch attaches to the frame extension, as there is not en

Are they actually running two LLSS classes? One at 6000lbs and one at 6500lbs? When clicking on the rules for each class, the rules for 6000lb LLSS come up for both.

I just spoke with Rodney, and he was able to answer all my questions. Absolutely great guy. Pleasure to talk to. Definitely sounds like a great crew, down there, and very accommodating. Lincoln Donahoo, he told me the best time to try to get in touch with him, is in the evenings and on the weekend. Use the number on the Mid Florida Tractor Pullers Association Facebook page.

I've reached out to them, to ask a few questions, but haven't heard anything back. I know that the Filiatreaus ran their LLSS tractors there. Anyone have any video or results from the Ocala 2019 pull? Just curious as to what the numbers in the class were. Thanks.

Jason Hohman, I thought that WNY Pro Pullers mirrored the SCWTP rules. That's what I was told.

I'm well aware that it originated as an economical class. Is that really a thing when it comes to tractor pulling? Wasn't that the original intention of Superfarm? And I agree with you, that the class has exceeded original expectations. There are some damn fine tractors pulling in the class. And in no way are they "entry level" or cheap. There's quite a range in the class, at the m

Well, you're right, I read over a dozen responses and misspoke on one point. Fact is no one on here said that it's a game changer. Not a single one, but that post implies that people think it is. Maybe if people could understand the original post, they wouldn't post ridiculous comments that argue no facts, at all. And then hide behind anonymity... Why are people so afraid to post t

Cody, I don't know if your reply was in response to my original post, or someone else's reply, but I'm not asking anyone to change their rules. I merely stated that I thought they were more widely accepted, and asked what associations allow them in LLSS, and who does not. From the reply up above, to anyone that thinks adding an air ride front to a back of the pack tractor, and it m

I didn't realize how many organizations were not allowing suspended front axles in the LLSS class. I knew Ohio, but I didn't realize B.O.B
didn't allow them, either. How many sanctioning bodies actually do not allow them? I thought they were becoming more readily accepted. I know some like them, some are against them, but I really don't see the issue. I know people try to ar

You guys down south will see it first... Our season is late up here, so I'll work some of the bugs out with you guys first. We've actually spoken multiple times, and I'm friends with Kim, as well. Was bouncing around your 560 before Faron bought it, so I'll end up running against it at home pulls. I've met and talked to some great people along the way. Lewis, you were ext

I can say that Jason's work is second to none. Meticulous. But I will also say that I've called Binderlite on the phone before and he spent an hour and a half on the phone with me discussing a lot more than just sheet metal. Great guy, but crazy busy too. They have a bad reputation? For what? Being hard to get on the phone? That's usually the sign of a thriving business... This is

And for the record, my discussion with Terry was about a LLSS, not a LSS. So smaller motor, one turbo, no one off billet heads... And no, Jason is not cheap, but his work is impeccable, and he will talk you through anything you ask him. Great guy. I'm looking forward to seeing his new motor run.

The pull is at the end of the fair, so that the track and infield aren't a mess for the concerts, and other events at the Grandstand. It was a conscious decision by the fair, to keep it cleaner, by waiting until the end. Same as last year, same as next year. This was discussed last year, as well.

Absolutely a great weekend. They reined the Unlimiteds in a little too much on Saturday night, but all in all, it was a great show. Great puller turnout too. I thought the move to a 2 day pull was a great choice, and both nights ended reasonably, rather than ending at 2am Monday morning. We camp there, so it's not like we have to drive home, but heading back to the camper by 10pm is nice. Tr

That came directly from members of the WNY Pro Pulling Series... so there's that.... You don't think that it's a lot to ask to drop and prep for 2 pulls, in two different areas, in 1 day? Especially when Little Valley has had the day for the last few years. The Travel Series moves twice as fast as the rest of the classes, so it wouldn't be an issue to slip them in on Sunday, r

They're kind of screwing the LLSS guys. They are scheduling them to pull Saturday afternoon, then they have to load up, and fly to another pull that was already scheduled for Saturday night. Would've been nice to have the courtesy to just let them come in and run on Sunday.

Single axle hauler and dual trailer axles is a nice combo. If you have to go to a triple axle trailer, you'll want tandem axles on the toter. The triples like to push straight ahead, and in wet conditions, they can push a single axle around. I am of the same thinking as the previous replies. More is a good thing, when it comes to hp. Going from your Dodge to an underpowered coach will be pai
