What you have spoken about here is a Component Chassis for example for a Super or Pro Stock type Tractor, not a Mod or TWD. Comment made there is no proof that a Component Chassis is safer/stronger because there is no spec. I know what your getting at, but not one of mine, or any of my reputable competitors(Builders) have had a Component Chassis Break or fail, while many AG Chassis have failed ov

I kinda like it, honestly your average fan coming to a show is gonna look at a Mod and say What is that...Relating it to a more well know Sport Drag Racing so a Fan could say ahh thats similar to a dragster or the Kings of Drag Racing makes it Relatable to outsiders of the Pulling World in my opinion. We gotta tie in new fans all the time.

Mr Douthits Hitch was not illegal, the adjusters that hold down broke during the run, and at the end both Days I might add, from what I saw and what I was told. Plenty have seen the videos on Social media. I've been pulling around the Douthits for more than 20 years, They DO NOT CHEAT! If your going to accuse someone, at least be man Enough to sign your real name.

The Antique mindset that we have to stay with all the factory stock dimensions inside of the 6 cylinder blocks in SS and Pro Stock Classes. Why cant Head Bolts and Cam centerlines be moved to help performance and durability for Competitors? IMO it has limited how many Competitors enter and stay in the classes.

Respectfully, you Guys are missing my point. Is anything being done to address Root Cause issues? I know all these folks involved on a personal level, I'm in the know on this stuff, cause I do it too. Could drive shaft manufacturers be required to send material certs and Heat treat certs with drive shafts, or...assign them serial numbers and keep paperwork on hand. Could Competitors be requi

Todd,
The Tethers were a complete Knee Jerk reaction, after analysis of the situation it was found that the wrong material was used on those two particular shafts by accident. The Tethers would not hold that shaft coming out. I'm 100% sure that the Manufacturer now has a system in place to safe guard this never happens again, as Do I at my shop. The Tethers may be a move to show safety

And, it takes time to get Cans....if these are outlawed, will there be enough steel cans in time? Plus your adding about 50+ pounds to Mods which could cause another issue. Think it through....

If I understand correctly the damaged Can / accident being referrenced, the flywheel clutch and complete assembly came off. This is another issue, the bolts failed, or crank failed? Not sure which, but point being sometimes we seem to make rule changes to a specific part, when the root cause was the actual issue.

The problem with the complaining is two fold, one, most of the complainers have never put one minute of their own time into promoting or even volunteering to work at an event, but feel its their duty to tell others their short falls. Two, complaining about a few items every year on Social media can get the event so heavily scrutinized and "Over Managed" that it may become Not the BG we all Love,

I swear if someone gave you folks $20 you'd bitch cause you didn't get 2- $10's..... Show was amazing, Tracks were awesome, The Blue shirts went out of their way to be helpful and nice to the Pullers, Mike Hall especially worked hard to get everyone a good parking spot that made sense for their Rig. This Pull is so big I cant believe it runs as smoothly as it does, it just shows th

I hope all Pullers take very seriously safety and making sure your equipment is in Tip top shape and all the required safety equipment is in place and good shape and used as intended. Just imagine if this was your Daughter or Wife, or any family member for that matter. What we all Love to do is very extreme, and yes dangerous, not only to Us but those attending as well.

Some great comments and ideas above, the one thing on this is we all need to unify into one voice and push for changes in ALL Organizations. Bringing Pulling to a higher level on the National level is needed big time. The family aspect will be there as long as Teams are built by Families(and they will be) that's not controlled by the Organizations. The level of Money to be involved on the hi

Is distance harder than too many night booked? We are going back on the Champions Tour this year, with 9-12 nights booked and likely, its much easier than another local group trying to book 29 nights. Also, don't mind driving 6-15 hours if I know I'm going to have a great event to compete at when I get there, would I wish it was closer...sure. But having a pit spot with our name on it,

Guys,
Instead of making this a one side or other bashing thread, how bout we reflect on whats brought us here... The Biden administration and their absolutely maniacal policies and regulations have just about Bankrupted this Country. Some say oh they are dumb, stupid blah blah! Waterloo is one of my favorite Pulls! Good track, Great Folks, Great Competition, and get to see all of my Customers from that association that I don't get to Pull with much. The crowd is huge, the food is awesome, had Live Music, which we TWD Guys ruined for them, LOL, but its a absolute place you gotta go Pull at some point! There is more to the story than whats been posted here, I was in the mix of all this back when it was front and center with my Ford Lss, The current situation has absolutely nothing to do with Jason Hootman, its over some butt hurt and other Pullers not wanting some strong Pullers having good parts to beat them with back in the day. It is time to update get over it and move on! And Hootman can wi

That mind set right there is gonna get you the same payout you got for the last 20 years! Its time these promoters stepped up to the plate and put the work in to bring in Sponsors and put more and more fans in the seats! This is 2022 and the costs are far different than anytime in History, maybe occasionally a Event has to be dropped and go somewhere that sees the value in it. Here in Springfield

It is 100% possible for a really well built Diesel Engine to compete in LSS, the Challenges may make it not feasible to do. The Higher Torque Lower RPM power range and the need to hook the tire and pull the Engine down into its peek Torque range will require Huge front axle weight to control the tractor or make a good straight driveable run. The closer the tire speed matches the ground speed then

The immediate need for the class is a Turbo Limit Rule, or a Box Turbo rule such as Doug Roberts Pioneered in the Outlaws years ago. They have gotten into Hp numbers that are mind boggling and Parts eating for most Engines. A backup in size would help other brands be able to compete more reliably and more Tractors will come out of the shops and Pull.
