Part of your thought is in reality what my cast LSS was. Single turbo 504 cu cast tractor. (could swap same combo to a component) this tractor is a blast to drive, quite capable of winning where ever I took it. In Nebraska Bush and Outlaw it is a legal entry ran as the cast LSS which is different than regular LSS class.
I have since changed my setup to a 3 charger setup because its allowe

HAHAHAHAHAH "put me in my place" Well I walked in my house unassisted .......... so no help I started pulling with NeBush in 2012 with a diesel 466 3x4 in the 4.1 class due to an invite. Was I out gunned? ABSOLUTLEY did I care ? NOPE!! I got paid decent money and that helps buy parts. The following yr I pulled the ULSS class with NeBush with that same tractor at 7500lbs with a few changes bu

Well here is something interesting for you....... The cast LSS with NeBush a few years back made several exceptions/rules whatever to INCLUDE any light tractor like the LLSS tractors that wanted to participate. GUESS how many showed up? GUESS how many participated? And you CANNOT say its because of "lack of payback" 1st 750 2nd 600 3rd 450 4th 375 5th 300 6th 250 7th 225 8th 175 9th 150 10th 12

I agree totally with you on the "I thought SF was 3x3" I mean really!! 3x3 entry level class ..... a stepping stone if you will to other classes up the chain. NOPE Its funny to me though because there are several other classes very close to them that they could be in BUT lets sell them another charger and keep the money train on the tracks

So if you have a VERY good and capable builder do your tractor top to bottom with their engine /air program THEN it gets taken to the said"dyno tune builder" whom is a competitor and they then tear it all down to see what the first builder has up on them AND charge the tractor owner for the disassembly/reassembly that didnt need to happen............. how would that make you feel? lighter in the

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I cannot agree .......... I actually spent more time on my previous diesel than I do on my CURRENT alky. HOWEVER my new alky will probably be a different story BUT I am also gonna step up to a national caliber tractor and with anything at that level if you expect to compete then you put in the time and effort to be at that level

QuoteDrinking alcohol
I have a close friend and neighbor building a LLSS on alcohol and he claims it’s the cheaper route. However I don’t see it do to the added cost of putting spark plugs in the head, all the electronics (ignition, coils, smart power etc.), the fuel system even if it is less than a diesel system is still expensive. Then there is the added cost and storage of buying alcohol in 5

Well my jump from drag racing to pulling was a result of a CDL. My "racer" was street legal"ish" (I actually still have it) and me being me I would find myself driving it on the streets.. Well I was smart enough to know it was gonna cost me my CDL and therefore my livelyhood. So as a farm kid that moved to town I went to tractor pulling to still get the "rush" I wish I could post the pic of

To "Think about this" as I read your post it comes across as the ONLY ones that deserve any money are promoters and TV personalities. As a puller for 20 some yrs I know I am not alone in feeling like this is using us pullers as a way to make someone else money. ...... So why would anyone want to build anything new and continue on this path of money gone? Whats the incentive? Truth be told thi
