Defiantly a terrible accident and I feel for the families of all involved. I am sure this will result in more safety rules as it should. People attend these events for an enjoyable time out with family and friends and no one should ever think they will be injured or worse. I have always had concerns at some of the events we have pulled at as to how close the spectators sit to the pulling track. (

We would like to thank everyone for the continued support the last few weeks and years.
Yes, the past few days have been a little unsettling, but after weeks of speculation, the Pro Pulling League is proud to announce the continuation of exciting pulling events under new ownership and partners for 2023 and beyond. We will have a transition period for the upcoming days, maybe weeks to transfe

Do they get major sponsorship to support effort?

Possibly make the grousers progressively engage as the box nears the top. This would make for a smoother more controlled stop and could be tied into the sled mechanically.

This is what you can use. The 1st wheel on the list cuts the front edge, the Flatter wheel cuts the top of the tread down. Its a dirty job but with a little skill iy can be done correctly and save a lot of money. I use a DeWalt 7" grinder

I think its a GREAT idea. Many that can not afford the sport would pay for the once in a life time experience. Anyone with a CCard could make this happen. Great Idea and if managed right I am sure it would work!

3-4 charger single engine Cummins. 3000 plus hp. Fans love to see smoke and it would be something different than the normal screaming Hemi noise.

You need a mix of both truck and tractor classes with a hook fee and payouts similar to OSTPA / NTPA and the pullers will come.

We lost 9 HP running (2) 4" 90 dgr bends along with an air filter feeding into a 3" turbo. These are true Dyno numbers on a Cummins pulling motor. So I would say you wont lose much as long as the piping is larger than the turbo inlet. We also have a 180 and a 90 dgr bend from the turbo thru the intercooler to the intake with very good results.

Well said Dick......I think a maximum turbo inlet size and maximum injector pump size would help level the playing field and keep the sport more affordable. I am not a Tractor puller....but these two rules certainly helps keep the diesel truck classes close and competitive.

Here is my recent quote locally:
Good Morning Ron,
Here is a brief summary of the pulling vehicle insurance product we developed with Liberty Mutual. Our insurance product covers the pulling vehicle off track and when the vehicle is not under its own power. The policy is setup on an agreed value basis meaning that once we establish a coverage value, if you have a total loss that

I would say half the tracks we pull on in Ohio has had demo derbies ran on the pulling track. It doesn't matter if it was 1 day before we pull or 1 year, we almost always find small car pieces parts when we walk the track and some places are worse than others. Rocks are also an issue on some tracks.

If the tire was moving faster it would have bounced up over the wall and the results would have been tragic as there were many people sitting in lawn chairs with virtually no time to react. There would have not been time to "Move Faster". Thank God no one was hurt. Maybe it is time to look at wheel tethers and make them work some way. I was there when this happened 8 rows back, standing and gett

To everyone that videotapes these pulls and puts them on YouTube is GREATLY appreciated! I study our class and my truck religiously and I can assure you more is learned this way than any other way to make improvements to the pulling vehicle.
Thanks guys and keep up the great work!

Is it the sanctioning body's fault the tractor broke?
What do they get paid? what would they have got paid if they were not test hook and broke?
The issue is when the sled setting is changed. You omitted that important point. If the test hook breaks and the sled isn't changed, they get whatever payout they get for the place they finish.
If they pull,
