True. Depends on rules. If 466 call Chuck Lewis. If I win the lotto, I'm hauling a guy out of retirement and/or drafting in his son.

I disagree as there are roughly 45 to 50 in the US and Canada not there. Be that as it may, 48 Pros and 12 to the finals has been a thing for about 25 years whether it is 4 flights of 12 top 3 to final or 3 flights of 16 top 4 to the final like it used to be.

I'll agree about the farm stocks, but I don't think twds really need it.
I can scarely think of one ever going over and that's largely due to the drawbar being above axle centerline and the triangulation of force that creates to plant tires vs everything else where the triangulation is reversed as well as over-centering in a rollover initiation where drawbar force on the low sid

It didn't say anything about chassis, just that they were going to fulfill all current tinwork orders and then not do bodies anymore. Can't say I blame them. It is exceedingly tedious, difficult work especially at the level Mike does them.

Really? When Brent and I were in staff meetings nightly at Ship, we knew everyone in the room and didn't see you there. We were updated about proceedings, but as no ink is dry on a contract, there is nothing to share. Everything else is conjecture and I won't feed rumor mills that might hurt our chances of returning. We are thankful to the MEC for allowing us a last hurrah if it be

Not sure it has ever been done. Introducing fuel above and/or below the blower and the engine being piston-ported, I would think the oil getting washed down would be a nightmare. I'd be curious what it'd be like, too.

Not any longer. 2.5 may still exist in places, but the national rules have coalesced around 2.6 smooth-bore and I think it was a good move, too. The 2.5s were getting crazy and very difficult to tech consistently. 2.6 smooth bore is dead simple.

I did not remove the original article posting. I had no issue with it either as it was from a reputable source. I absolutely DID delete the second attempt to share it because it was presented in a very inappropriate context.

If you plan and live by the forecast, you should know that 12" is the worst case scenario being put out at this time.
However, it is winter in the midwest and we have braved far worse both at Ship and Gordyville. If you decide to stay home though, you can go to www.whatssmokin.net and order the livestream. It's as good as a ticket and goes right to the promoter as if you were there. Pe

Yeah, there's a few with Tri-State, Darke County, Central Ohio that still run. I don't think is whole lot of difference between them and the IL tractors.

It's an invitational. The can have anyone come in they want to. The committee doesn't have to justify themselves. Bill doesn't have to justify himself. However if you are keeping score... 10 GN titles. 8 NFMS Session wins plus 4 Finals wins. He deserves the shot as a legend of the sport. He's not going to put junk out there on the Hall floor. It'll run well.

To be perfectly clear, and I am open to any correction necessary, the attached supply cages that will be honored by Midwest Winternationals. The spec for this event was promulgated prior to any sanctioning body out of necessity for the time frame. Call them. Price is roughly $125.00 to match MWN spec. Your mileage may vary.
