Agree on the need for more specifics, but the IH 360 has more than an inch difference as a factory setup & they run pretty good. The big concern is how will your head flow with the smaller bore.

Doc,
I don't think he is talking about paying for the damage. Rather he is talking about the fact that since the class is restarted you technically didn't hook and therefore are not eligible for points or prize money. He would like to see the puller get last place prize money (and presumably points if applicable).

You might want to post some pictures. I think I know what you are asking about, but a fillet is a rounding of an interior or exterior corner, like the radius that is typical on both ends of the crankshaft journal.
Questions:
1. Is the big end of the billet rod the same width as the factory rod? If not, how much narrower?
2. Put the bearing in the rod and place it on the crank without the

I get that it sucks when other groups copy rules and you are absolutely correct on anyone doing so removing NTPA references. As a puller though, if the organization I typically run with has an open date and I'm thinking about hooking with another organization as a one time hook, I don't always plan ahead enough to order a book thru snail mail. If I can't go to their website and q

It's not about volume, it's about injection time. A bigger plunger allows the same amount of fuel to be injected more quickly.

I'm not sure I agree on the HP part, LSS certainly has more power than they can hook, yet HP still wins.
I think the automotive engine classes benefit from other very popular motor-sports utilizing the same engines. The blower engines have a lot in common with Top Alcohol drag racing and na 4x4 trucks have a lot in common with PS drag racing engines. That means lots of parts out there,

Aren’t most of the PS & SS teams running aftermarket blocks too? So now it’s quite possible that nothing in your favorite tractor was manufactured by Deere / Case IH.

Choked flow in liquids
If the fluid is a liquid, a different type of limiting condition (also known as choked flow) occurs when the Venturi effect acting on the liquid flow through the restriction causes a decrease of the liquid pressure beyond the restriction to below that of the liquid's vapor pressure at the prevailing liquid temperature. At that point, the liquid will pa

Wait, do you mean that there are cities in Spain, Italy, & France named after these Missouri cities? Next thing your going to say that there are other Versailles, Mexico, and Bowling Greens in the world. That would explain all the talk about haulers at BG though, never seen hauler parking problems at the Bowling Green MO pull.

I presume you are referring to the theory that boost pressure hold the valve open and thus you need to compensate with the spring pressure. If you have a blower motor with open exhaust that is correct, but at 90 psi I suspect you are talking about a turbo motor and there you have to realize that along with the 90 psi on the back of the valve you also have approximately the same pressure as your

The ratio of any gear set is driven divided by driver. For a series of gear sets like this you multiply the ratios of the sets together.
To compute your final ratio you will also need the tooth counts on your bull gear and bull pinion.
2nd gear 28 / 41 X 48 / 33 X 49 / 16 X #Bull teeth / #Bull pinion teeth
3rd gear 28 / 41 X 44 / 37 X 49 / 16 X #Bull teeth / #Bull pinion teeth

Do you have skills and understanding in this area? If so, you can pick up the old model of the Edelbrock Quickdata on eBay, build your own harness, and use ebay industrial sensors. The entire Edelbrock system is good, but you can save $’s with industrial sensors if you are willing to source the connectors and build the harness. Exhaust Gas Technologies makes a thermocouple signal converter you

Back of the cherry picker isn't hooked to anything, what is your butt connected to when picking up the cinder block?
My point was that the cinder block is harder to pick from the ground than the table because when picking from the ground your knees are bent at 90° (if lifting properly, your back more than 90° if lifting improperly). It's the geometry of your body that's changi

Not even close to the same thing. Use your cherry picker to pick the cinder block from the ground vs from a table. It's not going to know the difference & you could demonstrate that with a fish scale between the block and the cherry picker.
The most significant advantage is the one mentioned by Hummin Cummins about it being easier to put weights on the rack.

Same as ag rearends, all higher hp pullers run open differentials. If the load is close to equal they will both spin; with so much reduction (bull gears or planetary) after the differential there is a bit of drag that helps if the loading isn’t exactly equal.
