Ground speeds already being done especially in mph classes. Technology is there to transmit it either on a on-board mounted readout on the sled or to a scoreboard mounted unit. Would be interesting to see for sure at this level.by Bryan Lively - Forum

Re: MO state fair - 12 years ago
I would like to see the understanding behind the animosity against this show. This is my second time there, thought it was a good show. Not very many places left in this country will you find some form or variant of pulling on the track during the week. The only thing I wouldnt be able to see go down the track is a semi, an unlimited mod, or a pro stock. Everything else----animal or machine-by Bryan Lively - Forum

Re: volunteers - 12 years ago
Organized pulling has been going on for 40 plus years now and we're still running into interesting scenarios that can and will happen. The answer to a situation like this lies in the middle--and the promoter/organization relationship is at work here. When a promoter gets volunteers there's no guarantee that their volunteers are experienced on a track. The added cost that a sanctioningby Bryan Lively - Forum

Re: New Class Idea: Ultra Light Super Stocks - 12 years ago
I think we already have enough classes but I will show my own hypocrisy here. I like the idea of a class below 6000, 20.8's 360 max diesel only single charger. Here's the trick though: Match engine to sheet metal, sheetmetal to rear. You can basically create a cummins powered class with LOTS of color that will run pretty reliably given that the diesel truck guys have done a tremendouby Bryan Lively - Forum

Georgetown NTPA GN Photos Columbus Indiana Photos Had a good time as always at Gtown, crowd much better Saturday as rain clouds kinda threatened late into the day friday but never materialized. Re: NEW--Traffic Suggestions for Southbound I65 traffic in KY Parts 1 and 2 - 12 years ago
I've been getting different reports. I went up 31E and across bluegrass pkwy this weekend to get to Gtown so I avoided it altogether. My thought is this: Go to the KDOT traffic website to see what's up before any travel in the area. I just don't want to create a hassle with these traffic snafus, so I will update as I see changes. Wanna keep everybody rolling!by Bryan Lively - Forum
The Better Route, Part 2 (31E) - 12 years ago
Highway 31E is a good road, mostly 2 lane but still very good. It may be a little faster compared to the previous suggestion, so it is up to you all to make the call. To get to 31E from I-65 and back to I-65: Coming southbound on I-65, get off at exit 91 and go towards Hodgenville. The sign should be marked as such along with subsequent signs. You'll be heading EAST on the Westernby Bryan Lively - Forum
One FINAL Note on I-65 traffic see 511 Link - 12 years ago
The link to Kentucky's 511 traffic report is attached below. Plug in your address and your destination and it will advise you about the status of the roads. Currently there's two major backups on 65, but if you play your cards right you can have relatively smooth sailing and will not need to take an alternate route.
