Simple mistake and will be changed. Good list for all classes.

Thanks for the input.
As for 2017 the 3.0 trucks neither had to run a box turbo nor the VP fuel. It started out they were going to have to run the VP fuel then changed early.
It looks the 2.6 class if there is support to book it will be able to run any 2.6 smooth bore turbo in 2018.
When it comes to new classes we will definitely look at any options if the vehicles and demand is

Not saying one way is right or wrong. But to stay ahead or keep up in the 2.6 class in PPL, will require the purchase of another turbo. And possibly another one after that.
Only one set of rules limits the number of turbos one would have to buy. If that is what a competitor is after.
If pullers would be interested in support of this class for 2018 with any smooth bore 2.6 turbo

Outlaws will be booking this class this summer if there is enough support to warrant it.
Please contact me if you have any questions. All feedback is welcome.
Thanks.

Proposed rules are on Outlaw website.
These rules will be discussed and finalized at the banquet Nov 17 and 18.
# of hooks will depend on the number of tractors wanting to support those hooks in 2018. So far we have had good feedback and pullers wanting to hook in 2018. The more memberships we can present to promoters the better the schedule will be.

It is funny the cycle of we need a new class that gets back to the old roots of pulling, to we need to change those classes so they can use today's technology and advancements.
Not that either opinion is wrong, just find it funny the back and forth every year on this subject with any class.
Start a new class to appease a group that for some reason don't like the 100 classes we

One of the rear head bolts pulled threads out of the block. Would have needed to swap motors in 5 hrs.

Serious question that has come up.

Right now it seems these are the items that people have different views on.
I have a few that want it 5800 lbs or max 6000.
Some want up to 6250.
Not sure what the right answer is but to keep this class from being a HP only class, calls for the lower end of the weight scale.
And another debate between guys is big frame big motor tractors being allowed. I have no idea what t

We are looking to add the LLSS to the 2018 Outlaw schedule.
This all depends on rules and puller support. If it is warranted, we are thinking of possibly having a meeting somewhere this off season if enough people want to get together and discuss options for next yr. If we have 6-8 pullers wanting to support this class we will sell this class to promoters and start booking.

Pull is still postponed at this time but if ran Sunday at 5 pm will not be a points hook. Many committed pullers have conflicts with Monday morning schedules and miles to be home in time.
The promoter is making the call on the postponement and or if cancelled based on ground conditions/weather.
This is a great event and wish the circumstances were different.

The best days are behind us if we hang on to the past as the standard.
I loved the 90s. But I also realize my 13 yr old self had a different vantage point than my current self.
Pulling is different and changed a lot. But there are 13 yr olds out there today that think this is the greatest and will be 40 and think the best pulling is gone.

All debt is secured. New ownership has actually improved that situation for OTTPA.
All checks are and will continue to be good.
Outlaws has great payouts for all classes.
With change there is always uncertainty, I can understand. All you have to do is pull, call, or stop by and the uncertainty is eased.

Doug best of luck to you and thanks for all you have done in the sport of pulling.
If you reread the posts I was merely sticking up for Outlaws the organization (which you built). I even gave you a compliment.
Once the letter came out and announced on pulloff, all members were involved. I am an Outlaw member paid in full.

I was just giving my opinion of first hand conversations in Rock Valley.
We joined outlaws this year because I wanted to support their dss class especially since Vanbeeks joined the class. Also my in-laws pull outlaws and it's enjoyable to take the kids where grandma and grandpa go.
You are welcome to believe what you wish. Not sure the reason to attack someone anonymously.

It means nothing. Doug gave his side of things, some of which is false. Kurt and the board have a plan in place and are moving forward to grow the Outlaws.
If you are truly worried call Kurt or a board member and have a discussion. The rest is just an attempt to create drama where there doesn't need to be any.
What impressed me was once the letter was brought out Kurt made co

Don't believe everything you read. Doug did a lot of great things. This step is the first in the right direction.
There is a plan and 2nd side if you bother to talk to the correct people and members. The actual facts will not be found on here. Outlaws future success is based on their many loyal members not an owner.
