Thanks for the link. I remember that 560 gassier with turbo would kick butt on the lite diesel super stocks in the early 70'ies. Have a great summer pulling

I agree the continue changing of class rules does nothing but drive cost up and drives puller out. I own and run a LLSS and my opinion is the proposed national rules are fine. I believe that 466 with max turbo of 3X4 can compete with the boozers. My experiences that I have enough power, it is critical that I set the tractor up correctly. Weight of 6250 is fine.

MY experience with LLSS class is that being able to set the tractor up correctly for the track and know how to get off the line make the difference between winning and being back in the pack. It is my observations that the alcohol tractors are able to come off the line easier than diesels. You can google my run at Menominee and see that I missed the set up and had all the power in the world an

I agree with Dave, A good night the tractor drive back up on the trailer. A great night you cover you cost to get the pull and back plus enter fee. A super great night you can buy an hamburger.

Are you sure you need suspension front end. Have you figured out what your tractor is going to weight. I would rather have the extra weight moveable. Good luck

My wife support my pulling. She is great cheerleader. Without the support from her I would not be pulling. I am blessed.

If I read I correctly the statement was no one allow 466 inch motors. Everyone wants more tractors to pull then they make rules to keep other out in my opinion.. I did a lot of research before building my motor last winter and decided to go with a NTPA group. I went with was most reliable as I also pull brush pulls a lot. .

Ross Richwine was from Aledo IL. during that time line. He now lives in Alexis IL. I am not sure who Ross sold the tractor to. I will tried calling him to find out.

I believe the goal of keeping pulling alive is to have as many people attend the pulls as possible. I pull both sanction and brush pulls and the pulls with most tractors tend to be most successful. Fans want to see lots of tractors and they also like speed. Nothing is more frustrating than not being able to run at pull because someone made rules that are different from all the surrounding gro

What is the goal of this class? To get more tractor at a show? To be an entry level class so cheaper? Just curious. It seems like if you have a tractor in an existing class some one will make a new class just different enough that you can pull with them. Originally being from IL. I would love to be able to take my LLSS down home for a couple weekends and play.

I agree with most that has been said above. 1 things that gets my goat is how some of the brush pulls nickel and dime the pulls to death. In my opinion if you show up with tractor to pull you should not have to pay to get into the event. If I have a choice of two pulls I will go to one that does not charge me to get in. I am in MN and folks ask me why I pull so much in WI it is because they we

I normally put my alcohol in a 8 oz. glass with 2 ice cubes. No more than 3 or 4 fingers to a glass and repeat as need till tractor runs great in my head. LOL. Seriously if alcohol is allowed do you have to increase the amount of total liquid you are injection to make up for water that is replaced by the alcohol? Thanks to all the Veterans for their service.

That's what I thought. It is shame to have same class in a state with different rules for different clubs. It cuts down #s in my opinion. Have a great fall.

Dave, I looked at building a 410 to met your rules and the cost was much higher than building a 466. I would love to have more places closer to MN to compete. Hopefully UPM will be adding the LLSS class soon. One last question can diesel run 30.5 tires or not. thanks

Dave I built one last year. I can tell you all that this light class is great fun to run. I use to drive a pro farm and being 6250 make it a great class to drive.
I wish your rules would match WTPA so I can come and run with your group. 470 inches with 3X4 turbo make sense in my mind.
