Re: runaway diesel, any solutions - 13 years ago
if the water inj is to rich to spool up,would some type of "massive" water inj cause it to despool or drown out.i guess im saying something like having two water inj systems,a lesser one for performance enhancement, and a larger set of nozzles for smothering the internal fire.this sounds kinda dumb, but would it work somehow,i imagine it would have to be port nozzels also,to eliminate watewr not geby patches - Forum

runaway diesel,any solutions - 13 years ago
after reading about the PGM accident,is there a solution to this,i cant imagine any puller that would not be in favor of a guaranteed way to stop the motor.in some of the post below,it was stated that killing the air and fuel is not good enough.would a shutoff in the turbo oiling lines prevent this"running on crankcase oil".surely there is a electric, and manual, valve that can be used by the killby patches - Forum
Re: Distruction and Carnage @ Wauseon - 13 years ago
yea thats very scary when that happens, ive seen it happen a few times.i had a similar event in a 318 dd,rack stuck wide open,i jerked the emergency kill, still nothing, fortunantly i was approaching a hill i knew i could stall it on.like you said it only takes a couple seconds.by patches - Forum

Re: Some observations - 13 years ago
i have been going to the nqs pulls in ohio since it was started.every track i have seen is way better than any i pull on outside.i have seen many heads pulled off to check cuin, and every tractor has thier fuel checked.i would say there will never be a nqs pull without boundary lines, and at the nqs pulls the gt tractors are the stars of the show, not filler classes like at most places.thanks julianby patches - Forum

Re: Hinton results - 13 years ago
at bg with the huge number of entries in the sf class, could this class not be run on both tracks,as the last class on each track.split the class into brackets as mebtioned above, take the winners of aech bracket for the pulloff, the 1st session pulloff would be on the north track, and the 2nd session pulloff would be ran on the south track.looks like a win for the pullers, and would keep it interestiby patches - Forum

Re: Hinton results - 13 years ago
i think this would would work pretty good.now at bg when there was 72 in the class, that amounts to 12 in the pulloff, would the pulloff be run as the order you qualified or would there be a redraw for position.by patches - Forum

Re: Bowling Green Seating Question - 13 years ago
if your sitting on the south side,it is called the "finish line tower",section 1 is at about the finish line, and the center walkway splits rows jj and kk.with jj being on the lower side.on bg's web site im pretty sure they have a seating map.if you get there early,in row jj there is noone seated behind you,so there is no knees in your back.by patches - Forum
