I recommend our 10 ply Holeshot or Full Pull. They weigh in at about 400 lbs each before any cutting.

Our tires have been approved for both NTPA and PPL associations. We have seen numerous points champions over the last few years in both classes with our tires. Our Holeshot tires are all handmade in the United States with a high level of quality control and craftsmanship. They are post inflated and laser measured for size and matched up before shipping. There are a few schools of thought on break in.
One is to start the tires much lower than you think you need to run them to put the sidewall cords under torque and creep up your air pressure over the next few pulls.
The other popular one is to drop air pressure in the tire to 0 and drag the tractor around until the tires sag and the sidewalls get warm. (this is similar to the machine the

Thanks for the question!
We have seen the best success with the 12 ply in the LSS class, and the 10 ply in the LLSS classes as far as 30.5's go. The 12 ply take some low air pressure at first in the LSS class, but once they break in, seem to do quite well.

I recommend the 12 ply Holeshot currently for the 4.1 Limited Pro, and have seen the 12 ply also do well in the Light Pro class along with our 10 ply.

20.8X38 Pro Puller Holeshot Update: Official First Look
This project has taken much longer than I anticipated, but I'm happy that we are getting very close to an official release date for the tire! We are putting the finishing touches on the mold now, and should have it back in the next few weeks. There have been a couple of sets made for testing to ensure we have the internals correct, a

Your air pressure can vary depending on a few different aspects of the tractor, track, amount of hooks on the tires, etc.
Please give me a call and I would be happy to run through your setup and help you out on pressure.

Our 10 ply 30.5X32 Full Pull can be cut down quite a bit from the 400 lb. starting point. I've seen as low as 425 lbs each with Midwest wheels. I know it is not as light as some of the tires others have mentioned, but are available now and are specifically designed for pulling. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Sascha, It's always great to see you chime in on threads. No doubt you have a ton of knowledge on the sport, and appreciate your input!
In regards to the one wheel comment, that was done on one of the earlier versions of the tire. We have done extensive research on our tires and feel like we have addressed what needed to be changed to offer a tire that will stand up to even the toughest o

The basis for the rule on the NTPA side is so that the tire size/shape is not affected by each individual person who does or doesn't harden or cut the tire. It is our job as manufacturers to make sure our product is legal out of the factory.

New Puller,
With our Holeshot having a few years on the track to prove itself, I think most people would say it has overall outperformed the puller 2000 in most cases. Each tractor/ track/ setup is unique, but the Holeshot puts a much bigger footprint of rubber on the ground than both the other tires you mentioned.
On ply rating, there are a different ways to approach it depending on what c

The answer to "the best tire" in LLSS is a hard one to answer. It seems like every region in the US wants something a little different. As far as the tires we offer, we have seen great results and points champions on 24.5X32 Full pulls, 24.5X32 Holeshots, and 30.5X32 10 ply as well. The Ultralight tire is somewhat of a newer project with not many tires out running yet.

The tires will not be a true radial, but will be built similar to our 24.5 and 30.5 Holeshot tires which have worked great. Many of the 20.8 classes have had huge jumps in horsepower and torque over the last few years (like all other pulling classes), so the need for a purpose built tire is more now than ever.
As tire technology has advanced, we believe the radial tires currently on the marke

We had a 20.8 Tire built overseas and it seemed like they took a while to get figured out for some people, but we have had customers have success with them.
A new mold is in the works for a 20.8X38 Pro Puller Holeshot in 10, 12, and 14 ply. These will be all American made, and modeled after our 24.5X32 and 30.5X32. We are hoping to have test tires before year end and have them available to buy

Thanks for the order! Not hard to believe 15 sets deep at the moment, I know there are a ton of people trying to get their hands on them.
We’ve had some supply chain issues (as is the case with most everything nowadays), but we have a solution for it and should be pumping out tires very soon. We will try and get caught up with our orders as quick as possible.

In the grand scheme of pulling, the Holeshot tires are still very new. They have been out a little over a year now, and we are finding new information every weekend on what classes and tractors perform best with what tires. I'd like to have a set of our tires on every single tractor going down the track, but every tractor/track is different from each other. We are seeing some pullers try the

Tire technology really has taken a huge step forward the last 6-7 years. Where the tires used to be somewhat of a limiting factor. New advancements and offering tires for different classes has changed a lot of setups and allowed for more horsepower to be effectively utilized. The key is to be able to find what that combination is before the competition does.

I can give information on our tires, but am not much help with other brands or the wheels.
Keep in mind that pulling tires are made by hand so there is some variation in weight from tire to tire. We match tires up as closely as possible when the batch is finished to get a nice pair.
The Pro Puller 12 ply Full Pull have traditionally run about an average of 420 lbs.

The 18.4 are also made overseas as of now and are a bias constructed tire. We may have a US made 18.4 at some point in the future, but do not have any plans in motion at this time.

This is a correct statement. The 20.8 tires made overseas were branded with an R on them, but are not a true radial, they are bias. This has caused some confusion with the antique world, but if anyone needs verification they can call me and I will explain the differences and process on how the tire is bias.

Thank you for the question! The tire specifications can be found at this link on our website. The tire will be constructed in a similar way our 24.5X32 and 30.5X32 tires are made. We have had success with those tires and our engineers think we can make the 20.8 work just as good, or better than our big tires. They will be a shallow degree bias design that is not many degrees off of what a radial

It has been great seeing all of the pulls going on this year, and from what I have seen, the attendance has been great with full crowds.
We released a new 24.5X32 tire this spring called the Holeshot, available in 10, 12 and 14 ply. It features the widest footprint legally allowed in all associations, coming in at just over 24.8" mounted. It also has a rubber compound made wit
