It is in the 1066 parts book as "wheels and traction, outer, dual rear wheels, disc type. Given that wording it would not be allowed because they were duals not the inner drive tires. The factory option is more directed towards something along the lines of a 666 IH, MH 44, JD A, something that came on press steel as its inner tires from the factory. It is in the parts book and legal for a 4430.

You'll need some darn good parts in the 460 or the 504, with some aluminum it would be easy enough to get a 560 to make 5000, even with an RD or 400 series engine, The 560 will take that kind of abuse considerably better.

I will try to address some of your concerns. We did not cover the track as it was not supposed to rain until late in the day Friday, but even so covering the track in Glenwood City does not do much good due to the large hill on the east side of the track. All the runoff comes down the hill and flows right under any tarp or covering that is on the track. It didn't start raining hard until 5pm

318 Chrysler pistons would work at or around 5" stroke. Are you stroking it? 366 chevy pistons work well at stock stroke, flat top piston, get it to 0 deck with a truck head and you'll be around 12:1

The narrow head can be used on the wide block. You must make a "spacer" to go on the right hand or pushrod side to keep oil in. The narrow head has better port design and a smaller chamber. that is the best head to use on a gas puller. I recommend using the wide block so you have the governor hole on the LH side then put the narrow head on. Any questions call or email me

Bad medicine is right. Back when we had the 10mm A pump on our 4430 we had a set of 35% firestone 20.8-38 radials that we could run in B 3&4 and always spin but couldn't get the speed we needed, from time to time it would bite in and win the class but usually it was in 3rd or 4th. My dad found a set of BALD (less than 5% tread) firestone 20.8-38 radials and we could run D 1&2 in the heavy cl
