Farm Stock Tractor Rules
6,000 lb. / 8,500 lb. / 10,500 lb. / 12,500 lb.

1. Pull is open to any Gas or Diesel tractor that meets the following rules:
2. 6,000 lb. Farm Stock Tractors will abide by all Salt River Antique Power Rules except there is no MPH limit.
3. Each tractor is to look standard for its year and model in appearance.
4. Block, head, crankcase, frame, transmission, rear end and fuel system must comply with the make and model of tractor. All parts must be factory stock, or original equipment replacement or a suitable aftermarket replacement.
5. 3000 RPM limit NO EXCEPTIONS
6. Stock fuel only. No Alcohol, Nitrous or Propane Assist.
7. Maximum drawbar height is 20 inches from the ground. Minimum length will be 20 inches from hook point to the center of the rear axle. Hitching device must be horizontal to the ground and stationary in all directions. No hooking over the drawbar support height. Hook point must be 3” wide by 3.5” long. Track Officials must be able to hook sled chain from behind the skid plate of sled, so all rear weights on tractor must be placed to allow this. No one will be allowed to crawl under the tractor to hook chain to sled. These items will be checked upon entry to the track.
8. 20.8-42 max tire size. No Cut or Polished tires.
9. Any loss of ballast or liquid or parts other than from internal breakage while in motion will be grounds for disqualification.
10. No drivers under the age 15. Any driver under 18 must have written consent from parent or guardian.
11. No weight bracket is to exceed over one foot in the front of the furthermost part of the tractor.
12. Participant may only enter one tractor per class. Participant may only drive one tractor per class.
13. All Drivers must adhere to the flag person at all times or they may be disqualified.
14. Drivers must weigh on tractor. All tractors must weigh at or under the weight of the class at weigh in.
15. All tractors are subject to weigh-out and tech inspection: before, during and/or after pull.
16. Driver to remain seated with one hand on the steering wheel at all times. Tractor must be operated in a safe manner at all times or the contestant will be disqualified.
17. If Tractor hits or crosses out of bounds marks, driver will be disqualified.
18. No “jerk” starting of sled, all attempts shall begin with a tight chain.
19. ONLY TRACTOR & DRIVER ALLOWED WITHIN THE WHITE LINES ON THE TRACK. Anyone else on the track is grounds for disqualification.
20. Tractor has 3 minutes from the time called to hook to the sled.
21. No passengers.
22. Entries close once class has started.
23. Any driver wishing to file a protest can only protest a tractor in their class and the protestors tractor must first be proven legal. Tractors that have been protested by a committee member must be checked by the committee before it is allowed to pull again. If a tractor is found not to meet the criteria for that call it will be disqualified from that class.
24. Judges Decisions are final.
25. Standard pump and block for make and model.
26. Hook point must be clear and visible, open 2 feet above the hook point and clear 1 foot from the side of hook point.
27. No twisted clevises.
28. The compressor housing for the 8,500 lb. class is to be no larger than 2.3 inches I.D. NO SLEEVES or BUSHINGS ALLOWED.
29. The compressor housing for the 10,500 lb. & 12,500 lb. classes is to be no larger than 2.5 inches I.D., downsizing of the compressor housing ahead of the wheel with sleeve or slug is permitted but must be the allowed diameter for at least ¾ inch in front of the wheel along the bore.


Diesel Trucks

1. Trucks may be hauled to the pull
2. All trucks entering any class other than Open shall utilize a single turbocharger.
3. Daily Driven trucks must utilize OEM turbocharger. 2.6 inch trucks are not allowed to downsize the compressor housing with bushings or slugs, turbo to be checked with a 2.65 inch plug. 2.8 inch trucks may use slugs or bushings to downsize the compressor housing ahead of the wheel but, must meet the 2.8 inch I.D. at least ¾ inch in front of the wheel along the bore. A stock MWE groove is allowed. No MWE groove will be allowed that is greater than ¼ inch. All provisions for air entering other than the bore or MWE groove is prohibited. Adapter plates are allowed except for the Daily Driven Class.
4. All computer chips and boxes are permitted.
5. No Nitrous, Propane or CNG
6. Water/Methanol Injection is not allowed.
7. There will be underhood inspections
8. Rear suspension may be blocked. Blocks must be easily removed. NO WELDED REAR SUSPENSION.
9. Air bags permitted, must have only one airline running to them and line must be capped off, no air tanks, compressors or in cab controls.
10. Except for the Daily Driven Class front hanging weights are not to exceed 60 inches forward of the center of the front axle. This will be measured from the center of the front wheel. Weights must be mounted as to allow for the crossing of the scales without the weights hitting the scales.
11. No weights in the cab of the truck.
12. Factory or commercially distributed aftermarket hitch. Must be horizontal to the ground and stationary in all directions. Height of hook point shall not exceed 26 inches from ground. Minimum 3 ½ diameter for sled hook (NO UNDERBED PULLING HITCHES).
13. Hook point must be past the rear of bed.
14. NO hitches with a chains holding to a gooseneck ball or other device in truck bed.
15. NO weight transfer hitches.
16. No chains, studs or spikes, ect.
17. DOT Street legal tires only.
18. Engine must have came stock from the factory in a 1-ton or less pick-up truck. Engine does not have to match body(i.e. Cummins engine in a Chevy or Ford)
19. Drivetrain must be OEM from 1-ton or less pick-up(No Drop Boxes or Reversers)
20. Rear axle bolts must be covered by center cap or shield.
21. Drivers must wear seatbelt & helmets are recommended.
22. IT IS STRONGLY ADVISED THAT ALL TRUCKS HAVE SAFETY EQUIPMENT (FUEL SHUT OFFS, KILL SWITCHES, SCATTER BLANKETS FIRE EXTIGUSHER, DRIVELINE LOOPS, ECT.)

OPEN DIESEL TRUCKS

1. Engine must have came stock from the factory in a 1-ton or less pick-up truck. Engine does not have to match body(i.e. Cummins engine in a Chevy or Ford)
2. Height of hook point shall not exceed 26 inches from ground. Minimum 3 ½ diameter for sled hook.
3. Front hanging weights are not to exceed 60 inches forward of the center of the front axle.
4. And all other safety rules apply.
5. Open means Open

Daily Driven Trucks can only pull in the Daily Driven Class, No class jumping ie 2.6 to Daily Driven or Daily Driven to 2.6

Saturdays classes will pull in order on the flyer
