you people need to compair apples to apples! the 531 and the 619 swing the same crank! thats. why they let it fly . just like the dt466 and similar binder engines! i dont have a problem with it. when i get beet by them. as for the perkins and the 903 cummins, i dont think so! to clear up the 619 in a 6030 thing the reason the ntpa allows this is because the stock 531 block will swing a 619 crank.... other than that any engine used for pulling must be offered from the factory in a 2wd tractor.. thus massey ferguson could not use a 903 cummins for pulling because it was never offered in a 2wd tractor from massey ferguson Edited 1 time(s). when there aren't any rules it doesn't really matter anyway. It's pretty funny how the big block deere guys have been on here for the last couple years trying to defend their position in the open farm pulling and complaining about being singled out at pulls and then when something else shows a little promise to maybe be able to run with them they are the first ones to start crying. Our tractor fits the rules we have 20.8 uncut tires, we run across the same scale as you do, and we don't turn over 3000 rpm. keep in mind this is brush pulling and you signed up to play the game too. thats what is good about indiana farmstock rules 20.8 tires 3000rpm and the rest is wide open ... sounds to me like you 6030 guys might have something to worry about ... now you 6030 people are going to see how we all felt when u beat on us all summer ... lol. i cant wait !!!!! |

it is no suprise that the 6030's win you can get 840+ cubes for crying out loud if u cant win with all those cubes you should be ashamed to build that motor that big, whats amazing out here is when a massey with 640 can come along and its only usually one massey rather then 10 tractors of the same variety in a class and one massey will come along and beat them all, keep up the good work massey pullers u give us all a prideful feeling when we see u upset the mainstream tractors |

you can get about 1000 cubes out of a 585 moline. do your rules allow gas? |

The thing is the tractor that started this discussion hasn't even made a very good pass yet and already people are getting upset about it, heck we don't even know if it will run with the big block deeres. Let's wait and see you 6030 guys might not have anything to worry about. |
