New found respect August 09, 2010 09:51AM
This past weekend, after watching pulls for almost 20 yrs I was flagging at the end of the track. Now mind you this wasn't a GN or RN event
just a little brush pull that happens in our town every year. Things had been pretty normal until the 4x4 gas mods and 4x4 2.6 & 2.8 diesels started running. When they are screaming down track directly towards you, you get a whole new respect for the guys that are doing it every week,
Whether its PPL, NTPA ,whoever, my hat is off to the those guys, things happen really really fast on the big end.
