What ever happen to Leroy and his tractor? He had an awesome running IH alcohol superstock, Down-N-Dirty, about 6-8 years ago. I believe he was from Macon Missouri.

Mark Hayes bought it ran it for quite a few years. He now runs a component LSS with a similiar motor setup. The Chassis is still in NY and called Edge of a Dream with a 504 in 2 charger alky, run by Lance Micek.

Heard he was living in N'Ky and driving truck. He fell out of the pulling scene around 2001-2003 maybe. Haven't heard much else about him.

this is the old down & dirty tractor now owned by Lance & April Micek of Carthage,NY the Hayes family sold it to Lance

But, you all have to keep in mind where that tractor came from; it was one that Blackburn did. So its not like Leroy built it from the ground up. Don't get me wrong, it was a good running tractor and Leroy did keep it running with the top dogs. I honestly wish that he would have kept it and pulled or kept on with some of his other plans to pull and stayed in it

Its been at least 10-12 years since LeRoy went down the track with Down-N-Dirty.Time sure flies by.
