So the housing (pig) has nothing to do with it ? The housing is good for either slow or high speed without any modification ? Its the internal carrier that holds the ring gear thats different ? A high speed can be converted to a slow speed with this ring you mention, I'm assuming to raise the ring gear ?

I'm a newby and need to be educated. Thanks for any help.

Is this ring something that has been done for some time with success ?
