Thats really messed up!! There was like 4 hours before the pull yet and you look now... sun is shining and no more rain in the forcast! There is a good handful of other towns that would have tried harder to make this work, good grief. Its the last pull of the year, a pull fans and pullers alike look forward to and at the same time up against. I know the weather is never something you can plan, but lets give up before we even try why dontya.

On another note.. i want to THANK ALL THE PULLERS AND FANS AND OUTLAWS for making this another GREAT year of pulling!!! THANK YOU!!

Are they having a concert tonight maybe thats why they cancelled. Anybody going to Bret Micheals at Spencer tomorrow night? The Spencer folk will never be the same after he is done with them to bad none of the Outlaw pullers can sing and shake their booty like Bret then you could bet the Spencer fair board would make sure the pull was on Sunday again. What would Dennis or Doug look like with a bandana and makeup?Drinking

They've had quite abit of rain the past few days and the track is the low spot. The called the pull after they had a large 4 wheel drive tractor stuck in the track and it was still raining and the sun hadn't come out and it was cold out. Not real good conditions for having a pull! Thanks for trying guys!
Maybe next year, move this pull earlier in the year?

Drove up to Dell Rapids this morning and made it to the track around 4pm. the middle of the track looked like a pile of mud and even though it was cancelled..there were still people going to the parking lot near the baseball field..wondering if the pull was on or not. there was no signs saying the pull was cancelled at the track. the weather up there tonight was also to get down to 41 degrees also... so maybe besides the rain out..would be a cold night in the Dell.

Its called turn it in to your insurance company and you are out nothing!!
Thats why its so easy to cancel ahead of time and not care what the fans or pullers think!

Im sure if they would have the fear of losing $$$ they sure would have tried harder to make this pull a GO! Notice how much rain we got the rest of the afternoon?? NOTHING! Sure it was cold, but thats part of the game!
