Back when we pulled antiques, we used to make fake weights out of plywood. With a little work and creativity, they can be made to look similar enough to deceive the lookers at a distance, especially if you put them in the middle of the stack where only the edges show. To really sell the deal, though, you have to ACT like those fake weights are heavy when you handle them, because you are being watched when you are weighting up, too. |
