In a few weeks there will be an event honoring one of our own in the Mid-South, The Friends of Crane Collier Antique Tractor Pull. Crane has been a longtime puller and pulling fan and I met him first years ago when he and his wife Carol campaigned a pair of potent 2 cylinder Deeres. More recently Crane had worked as a tech official in the MSPA. Crane's health has been in decline and he has endured quite a bit of adversity fighting heart ailments and cancer as well. In his support, a group of friends of his in the Bedford County Antique group in Shelbyville, TN organized this upcoming event in his honor.
