im wanting to know if you can use a diesel turbo on a gas motor or will the vacume pressure do something?

Had one sucking through a carb on a garden tractor once. It worked pretty well, but when the compressor side seal starts seeping you get a lot of oil burning. It's the same effect as worn out valve guides. Just depends on if the size of the turbo is right.
