Semi pulling hitches July 26, 2011 10:39AM
We ( local fire Dept.) are looking to upgrade our pull next year to include semi's. The problem is that we dont have any hitches in the area that I know of. I was hoping someone had a print, photo or digram of one, that we could have several built for our pull. Looking for the type that has the king pin to hook into the 5th wheel plate and then drops down behind the frame. Any help is greatly appreciated!

the Big Rigs Pulling Series has a number of these hitches. we will be in ohio in the next couple of weeks - Lisbon (8/5,6) - Painesville (8/16) - Canfield (9/3) - Burton (9/4). you are welcome to come to one of these pulls and take measurements and photos. the person that built these hitches will also be there and you can talk to him as well.
