Well I had a 1370 that was in the farm stock class that had stock engine/pump/lines/injectors. And I also put new torque limiter disks in and they would still not hold up to just the fuel screw being turned up. I believe most people put a 8 speed tranny in to pull. 1370 Black Knight Pull [www.youtube.com] My name = Kyle Kerr |

He's still running the powershift. The torque limiter is basically bolted solid. And he's changed the relief pressure. He's been running it in 4-2 this year. |

I ran an 1175 for 3 years but I removed the power shift. Had a 3 disk Crower. Also ran 5 hole .025 bosch injectors with a p series pump set around 650cc. I was 504ci with a bone stock cam and a 3LM. Timing was 36 degrees. Made 72 psi intake boost at 5000rpm's and it ran like a raped ape. |

I've never seen an 1175 or 1170 with any transmission other than an 8 speed. Bone stock cam, 650cc, 3lm, 5000 rpm?? |

If you can run a 3x3 turbo why are you using a 3LM 466 ??? |

3lm 466 was cheap and fits right on for now, i know there's better stuff but budget for now, still just learnin with this tractor then we gonna build a better one down the road. pullin in nw iowa and sw minnesota. and i've heard you guys talk about needle bearings in the rear, which bearings?? |

The cross pins, back gears and spider gears in your differential. |

What is the reasoning for needling the rear end? Is this for all or just power shift models?
Pulling 8-12 mph at 12500 and 14000 at somewhat more than stock hp |

Needling the Differential cross shafts & the side gear shafts reduces friction & helps the tractor go straight & spin with both tires instead of "one wheeling". reduced friction means more HP on the ground. however i think its hardly necessary for the tractors being talked about in this post, there are much better places to spend the money you have to work with. unless of course you have your own machines to do the work with. |
