Bosch P 7100 pump April 17, 2012 01:05PM
Hi guys just wondering how to tell the difference between a P7100 and a P3000 pump. I may have found a used one but I want to tell the difference between the two so I get the 7100 and not the 3000. Thanks

7100 has plugs on the bottom 3000 flat plate is the easiest way to tell

is there a way to tell using the model or part number tag on the side?

yes, in the series of numbers on the name plate fastened to the side of the main pump housing, the alphanumeric Bosch "PES" number will have a series of 4 numbers in the end that start with a 7. For example, it would read PES6P120A120RS7275.
