putting a clutch blanket on 4010. wondering about cutting blanket for shifting rods and clutch pedal. Is this the best way or somthing better. thanks

Heat a piece of pipe or a piece of rod the size of your shifter lever with a torch, and poke it through the blanket. Makes a nice hole in the blanket for bolts, levers, and the like.

Take an old hole saw, grind off the teeth & sharpen the edge somewhat. Remove pilot twist drill & use in drill press to cut thru. Makes clean hole.

i used a heated piece of pipe for round holes and heated the side of a peice of angle metel with torch for clutch linkage 3inch to 4 for travel by burning through there are no frayed ends
