Help with .450 roosa master jdb pump May 08, 2012 01:02PM
On my 4320 the bottom plug/bolt on the pump housing stripped out or loosened up which allowed the stationary timing mark to move. The pump was just taken off the test stand and was done by a big name professional shop. The tractor was just idling for 5 mins when this happened. Did the pump seize or did the bolt only fall out allowing the insides to turn?

If the head seized it would not cause the cam ring to move. If the plug fell out it would cause the cam ring to turn causing the engine to die. MACK
