couple of questions if anyone can answer?

Will a cam from a D310 fit in my D282 ?

If the cam fits will it benift me ?

Is there anyone that offers perfromance parts for these engines?

If there isn't any hope for the D282 will a D312 from an IH 666 be the better route?

310 is a German designed engine, and I doubt you can swap anything between them. Without a doubt you would be better off with a 312, 360 or even the German 310 would likely be better than the 282. But if you need to keep the factory block, use a D 301 from a 715 combine.
