Last pull at Ohio State Fair August 13, 2012 04:27AM
When did the Ohio State Fair do away with tractor pulling? I was there for an OSTPA pull in 1998, but I can't say for sure when the last pull was held. Was it the city folk whining about the noise? Possibly the enviro-nuts complaining about the smoke? Why did they get rid of such a great pull?

We pulled there with Central Ohio about 2000 or 2001 I think. As far as I know they got rid of it because the horses wanted the space. And horse people run that fair. It's stupid that the state fair in a state like Ohio has no pulling. I have not been back to the fair since.
