NPPA - Sandcreek Shootout May 01, 2013 01:07AM
The promoters of the Sandcreek Shootout in Wahoo, NE would like to see some more vehicles at this year's event on June 1, 2013. To accomplish this the Sandcreek Shootout will pay the NPPA insurance portion of a one night hook fee ($60.00) for any new competition vehicle in any of the sanctioned classes that the NPPA offers (the vehicle cannot have pulled with the NPPA for the 2012 season). This means that you will just have to pay $15.00 for each of the two classes ($30.00 total) that night.

We can also roll that into a full membership and it would only cost you an additional $140.00 to become a full member and then you will be included in any year end points payouts for those that place well enough as well as fuel money.

Also please remember that we are trying a new payout with only fully paid members getting fuel money and the rest going toward the points fund and we now allow 640 3x3 tractors to pull with our 466 3x4 tractors like was done in Lincoln for the indoor pull.

We have just under one week until we kick off the NPPA season in Wahoo Nebraska for the Sandcreek Shootout!

TI Is from 11:00AM to 4:00PM for all Members. All onetime hooks will still need to be looked over and meet all of the safety reqs.

On behalf of the Nebraska Power Pullers we would like to thank the promoters and sponsors of the Sandcreek Shootout. This is by far the best track we have had in Wahoo (in the opinion of those I talked to as well as mine). We would also like to thank the pullers and spectators that came out in the record low temps on Saturday. Its not often you would trade a firesuit for a Carhart on June 1st.

I would also like to thank the John, Justin, and Karen Hoffman for coming out and making a few test passes. The crowd loved it and you are welcome any time.
