ih 966 and 766 rear ends with 466 August 11, 2013 01:12PM
I was wondering what you pullers thought out there about a 466 bolting into a 766 or 966? will it fit? will the rear ends be able to handle the 466 motor or will it rip it right out? thanks!

It will work got a 966 with a 466 dynoed at 998@ 2675 no problem

Its the same engine plate ..... and same rearends. Nearly all IH superfarms are built from these as are the 4.1/640cu limited pros.
