if you have a true STOCK farm tractor, you shouldn't be able to pull 10 mph anyway

my point was when there was no speed limit or even before rpm limit always ran at least one if not higher gear at point easy pulling track sorry for the confusion

loosing pullers really Lancaster had 24 tractors in there 12500 class darlington with no speed had only 14 witch in years past had over 20 see what happenes when u let guys run 17 mph in a farm stock class

[/bI dont know why we got brought up in this, but this is the first year we ran a 12000 in darlington. ran 14 16 and 17500 before,running a 12000 took away from 14000 so add numbers up in 12 and 14 and are around 30, not to bad. I like people who dont use their name

hey 1570 u must not come on here very often cuz I think last year or the year before mark claims the blackstripe 10 from darlington went to mp and pulled in 3rd hi but it was all stock then cried when he was dqed

really got a name? what is all this about when a 10 ran 3rd high if 1 did it would be at point track in 11000 used to always run agear higher there. dont remeber any one getting dgd. if your talking about the 10 ithink you are it is stock414 motor with some fuel work(just like 90% of tractors in the farm classes). if you have a problem with me call or come talk to me in person dont hide behind a keyboard really

I agree with bad4430 it could b lower but i think the 10mph limit works fine in the area's mentioned.
I also think that u actually get more tractors in a class at 10mph!! Since the local boys that dont have all of daddys money to spend are still usually within ten ft or so of first not get beat by 50ft by a guy goin 15~20mph in a FARM CLASS.

If you are planning on leaving your truck and trailer overnight like a few did last year; It is not a problem but Please mention it to the parking staff or to a official so we don't have any issues in the morning with other events.

Another fun, well run pull. Only complaints were it was to loud sitting under the loudspeaker, and I think the packer tractor should put a muffler on, my ears were ringing all night.. lol

well I can tell you my ten has stock gears in it and I went over 10 mph in High second. Just wasn't smart on my part as I never thought it would go over 10mph

really..im pretty sure that the same 10 that supposedly pulled in 3 high actually went up to point this year where the speed limit was 10MPH and he won if im thinking of the same black stripe 10? I was at that pull in point and he was not the only tractor that went up a gear.
