pit vehicle

I need a pit vehicle for next summer. Problem with most is I only have 7' of extra room on my trailer. I would rather not get an even longer trailer so have been looking for something that will fit. From what I have found a RZR 800 will fit sideways with it being 103" long and 50" wide. Question is will it tow a dead truck around the pits? Anyone have any experience good or bad? |

I pull mine with a Polaris Ranger 500 . I'm in the same boat as it is as long as the trailer will hold. Pulls my tractor around fine. |

Depends if you run into a cop that wants to write you up for being 103" wide, since 102" is the limit. States are always looking for ways to part you from your money. |

Dont worry about extra inch. Cop will need you to hold tapemeasure and that is easy o loose couple inches |

Buddy had a Razor, sold it to his son and bought a Ranger. Razor looked cooler, but it is NOT built to tow, built to go fast!
Kubota is the best towing rig I have seen. Saw one @ pull towing two pro stock tractors. Did see Troy Anderson towing his 20,000 lb Pete with a 4seater Ranger. |

Yeah the Ranger 400 or 500 would probly fit and tow ok, stay away from the Kawasaki mini-Mule tho! |

we ran a gator then a mule diesel the mule was perfect. Used it all the time to load a LSS as long as it has the weight it had plenty of power. We never started it to load it on the goosneck it would push or pull it on with no real trouble. |

If you dont need a side by side the CanAm Outlander MAX XT would work very well. |

My Midsize Polaris Ranger does a great job. For 2014 they have new models with a complete different chassis and engine placement for balance and noise reduction. To work effectively, place some extra weight in the bed for traction and keep it on the low side of the transmission and you should have no problems. I use am using the Polaris midsize Ranger 570EFI to pull my 10,500lb Farmstock currently, as it is under repair. From the brochure: Overall Vehicle Size (L x W x H) 108 x 58.0 x 73 in. Dry Weight 1,046lb. 1000 lb. payload capable. Fits in the bed of many trucks. |
