Gas head for IH November 24, 2013 11:01AM
Is there a gas IH head that will bolt on a 400 series block? If so anyone have the number or pictures of the head? Thanks!

I ws told that in the west the 400 series engine was used on oil wells and was set ut to run on natural gas

Had a DT core one time that was set up to run on CNG it had the diesel head with a spark plug adapter in place of the injector tube and a big bowl cut out of the piston,never did have it running and there was no ignition system on it,as far as a factory gas head I doubt there ever was one.

Thanks for the help, just figured if there was a option out there it might be easier then converting a diesel head
