Will an 8.3 Cummins fit in any of the smaller tractors such as the 105 or the 135? As in is the body and components all the same size? 618-304-4605, email, or private message. Thanks. |

It will fit in a 2-70 with a sae 3 flywheel housing but without the range box. Iam sure it will fit in a 105. |

It will fit, I am currently figuring all this out as well. I believe it will take some tub modification on the 105. Late 105s and all 110s and so on have a slightly wider tub that it will fit with no mods.
Finding a 105 that is cheap enough for me to bastardize is the biggest issue right now |

this is notch tub for gear housing HX 55 turbo factory fuel tank tweaking bell to fit tub easy, easy, easy factory radiator with some tweaking for the inlet left side of radiator looking down toward crank . dont know why I made this pic. lol radiator in origonal location We had to remove steering motor and use a hydraulic cylinder to work steering because the balancer was hitting it. finished product Edited 3 time(s). got a 2-105 tub with a factory wide front will sell all part or what do you want, 400.00 for the tub 600 for the front end or 900.00 leave it all together and load on your truck, also have a complete 8.3 sitting on pallet 2500.00 and it can have a new home or make a real big package for someone rear motor tub or tube frame, it all needs another location. |

never weighed the 105 the 1650 was 685 or so the 2255 was never weighed but we took it and a narrow front off added a tube frame and cage plus the wide front and still lost 1700.00. I guess somewhere in the 1200 range. Oh yeah the 1650 was 200 lbs heavier than the 880. |
