4430 Clutch housing Question January 16, 2014 04:16PM
I am working on a JD 4430, going to convert to a Crower clutch, heavy input etc. Are all the 4010-4020 gear drive clutch housing the same? Is there a better stock housing? Early 4010, early 4020,late 4020..

I believe that a 4020 clutch housing will bolt to a 4430. However a 4010 has a different bolt pattern and will not bolt up.
