Wow Ed I hope you find out whats wrong with your tractor. I have a 7120 that I use all the time and had to have a exhaust manifold gasket replaced it was dynoed when it was done 2300 rpm dynoed at 330hp. all stock on the inside stock pump but it was rebuilt and turned up several years agoe. |

MO. 3000 RPM

To be competitive in the 3000 RPM class here you have to be north of 1000 HP. |

Jus sayin

Here in Mo. they pull an 18000 out of field class with several Magnums in it. They are all 350 plus. I personally know an engineer from Case-IH who told me that the Magnums are capable of 400 HP with all factory equipment installed if you know what you're doing. |

After thinking about it more, I guess it could be possible if the pump is turned up all the way. We have had several magnums and they are a great tractor |

Same here. Not to worried about the hp. as long as you have the torque! Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 02/09/2014 01:43AM by amnima. |

Why would you have a 7120 with a 504? I suspect your 7120 might have a cummins so why only 330 hp? LoL |
Re: 504 hp

I have three magnums 2 7120s and a 7250 the one 7120 is ok bun nothing special. the 7250 was on the dyno and was right at 280 the other 7120 was dynoed and I have never done anything to it but I bought it used and when it was dynoed it was at 330. Other than smoke more than the other 2 and having much more torque seems to run great |

I have a 1570 with a stock 504 that I pull. it has all stock equipment. All I did was take the pump in and turned to full fuel and reset the governor curve. its right at 400 hp and I competed very well. The biggest thing is to make sure that you can keep full fuel to it at all times. If you have a 504 from anything but a 1570 you will probly need to change injectors and lines. The 15s came with the big injectors and 93 lines factory |
