ntpa clutch rules ? September 29, 2014 05:32AM
So maybe a dumb question but the way it reads

The competitor, by agreeing to run under all NTPA safety rules and regulations in place are required to use SFI approved clutch assemblies and contain them in SFI approved containment devices, i.e. SFI approved bellhousings or SFI approved blankets.

Does this mean the blankets still need to be dated or by signing the waiver are out of date blankets allowed along as there sfi approved?

This is a SFI rule outta their books that blankets are only good for a certain period of time.

I am surprised that if PPL uses SFI why they don't follow the blanket rule?
