There are several Chevy powered tractors in ILL setting around not running at this moment so what about 2/14s at 6000 ,2 8/71 at 6500 and 2 Chevys at 7000. Just an idea? What do u think???the first 2 setups are for hemi power.

Why not just build two single engine tractors help out numbers

I don't mean to offend anyone here, but my question is why would ITPA need another class?

The big mod class is dead with no tractors supporting it the 5800 has a new Allison coming next year , that makes 15 tractors trying toget 8 checks there has Been some talk abought a 2 engine class. Just seeing if there is any interest out there.some 5800 tractors might add motor and jump up a class

I see your point. I might make a suggestion. If you are going to do this. Don't make more than 2 weights in the class. Figure it out amongst yourselves on how you can do it with 2 weight breaks. Anymore than that and it will get confusing. We had that a few years ago in the light ss class and there was 4 weight breaks in it at the time. The board was trying to make it fair for everyone but no one actually knew at a pull who was supposed to weigh what. We went to 2 to make it less confusing and in my opinion, it has worked well.

The 5800# class is a really nice class now, with a variety of powerplants, why not pay more purse money ? Paying 8 and having 15 show-up . maybe need to pay down more before its too late .

i would pull it for sure, the big mod class is in a deep hole. that sucks but is what it is. i have pull 58 mod for almost 5 years and there need to be a step up class. i went to ntpa but would set up my single that is going to sit next summer for a 6500 class, i know of another tractor that would prob pull from itpa, miller light tractor would prob run also. and it would have to be 14/71 no other option. if light unlimited tractors can't hook then it will really hurt picking up tractors. most of the light unlimited tractors live around the state and would most likely come run if pay is same as ntpa. I'm afraid 58 mod is going to the same direction as 8,000lbs trucks went big numbers and lots of pulls only pays 8 places and guys get burnt out of traveling and not getting paid. it should really be discussed at the meeting in december. can't be any worse than what big class is now.

Who pulls for the money???? Seriously..... yeah it's nice to get a check but why is it a must? News flash.... Illinois is BROKE! ITPA is hurting to get pulls. Why would they want a bunch of primadonas pulling for a check when they can add the farmstock class suggested below? Full of guys that just want a chance to blow smoke and don't really care if they make fuel money.

Don't be too hard on him. People just have a different notion of what a lot of money is.
