piston rings gap December 18, 2014 04:11AM
What is a good formula for a diesel engine pistons ring gap? I can find them on a gas engine. My bore is 4.81

if you are using stock pistons and rings stock gap should be fine.

if using billet pistons and aftermarket rings for example you can use the high performance gas chart
