What years were the DT466 a roller motor? Is there a casting # to go by? thanks in advance.

Is a 468 a mechanical injection engine? what is the best manifolds to run for a 3000rpm class?

Just cause its stamped dt468 does not mean its a roller cam !!! That only means its a C series ! The best way to check is to pull off the side breather and look to see if you can see the bridge that connects the lifters

I have one and the way we confirmed it was by taking the serial number to our IH part man and they confirmed it. That's why they have serial #'s.

Or just do like Red said, take the two bolts out of the block vent port and have a look with a flash light. Takes out all the guess work. Don't always go by those serial numbers as I've seen them fib about certain things before.
