Can someone explain why Kevin Stitzer was not aloud another attempt being he did not make the 80 foot commitment line In the V8 class. |
Re: Super Pull Saturday Night

Kevin Stitzer I have a question how in the heck can I have a recorded distance of 74 feet when that jack ass of a flagman said I crossed the commitment line and they pulled my kill switch for no reason. Hell half my tractor wasn't even across the line so that goes to show that I did have it shut down before your 6' cone you call a commitment line. I would home you guy would send my entry money back seing how you f%$#ked me out of my repull thank you very much |

If I heard right during the drivers meeting they said if you get close to being out of bounds shut it down or you will be dq. You weren't going to bring it back and should of been out of it. Conditions are very close at this pull and for everyone's safety they don't take at chances. I trust the flagman very well he is a trusted puller that has been around pulling very long time. The rules are strict there very good reasons. Sorry to here you werent allowed to come back but it was a judgement call on the track. |

sat on right hand side of track and tractors were hooking right pretty hard that hot pit area ain't no place to take a nap and hitting chalk line or not its a tight fit when your sled is wider than tractor looked like moving the sled to the left a little more would helps or sitting it far right and shooting for left corner woulda wirked too |
Re: Super Pull Friday Results

Nice to know your pull depends on someone else's predetermined idea of safe or not safe. To me if you are stopped before the commitment line which is what the results show why not get a repull. Wasn't out of bounds wasn't a DQ on paper. Sounds like some changes need to be made to the track to make it safer for everyone. There is a point in time when an event and equipment outgrow its surroundings. Did the mini that blew up into a big fireball get dq'ed? I know it was uncontrollable what happened but it happened. If Kevin would have went out bounds with his kill pulled then there is a valid argument to be made but to not let him come back when he didn't make the commitment line is poor judgement on the track officials. I don't care how long someone has been doing something you can't make a call on an assumption. Everyone knows what that does.... why put lines on the track if you are gonna go by some one else's idea of in or out. The track should have been made less wide to compensate for the unsafe conditions of the Dekalb "Super" pull. |
