Steering wheel quick disconnect for Deere wheel. March 12, 2015 11:31AM
I need to install a quick disconnect for the steering wheel on a 4430, We NEED to keep the stock wheel. I assume that the QD kits summet has will take a bit of machine work to adapt them to the stock steering wheel. Any advise??

I got it figured out today, Moroso quick disconnect kit from Summit, and some lathe work..

From experience, I will warn you. When drilling the holes to mount onto the hub, be sure to index them opposing the wheel spokes. If you drill through the spokes it weakens them to the point that you will twist the wheel off of the original hub. Luckily, happened when backing out of the shed when getting ready to load.
