Head flow n/a vs turbo

New to a turbo charger and was wondering what seems to work best with them. I'm wondering what the exhaust flow % should be to the intake to best keep the turbo turning. Im thinking that air speed wod have a lot to do with it but CFM also has to matter. Thanks for any help. |

really depends on turbo size cubic inches but you always want to have atleast 10 pound more ex pressure then intake to keep it turning also having to little head flow can make the charger chirp going down the track thats because there is an acess of air that cant go anywhere except out the inlet of the charger also to much head flow ( more smaller single charger classes) it will have no runner/air speed for example you have a 466 3x4 and the head flows big numbers way to much for that charger or a single charger program theres no runner speed/velocity and the smoke would look lazy not keeping a good tight stream of smoke. |

The camshaft can make one chirp advancing the cam will sometimes take out the chirp or it has several times for me |
