Re: Glenwood City FFA Alumni 5th Annual Pull July 27, 2015 05:32AM
The 4500 through the 9000 farm stock will have the factory rated horsepower limits on them like in the past years. Thanks for looking.

Re: Glenwood City FFA Alumni 5th Annual Pull July 27, 2015 01:15PM
What eliminator??

Re: Glenwood City FFA Alumni 5th Annual Pull July 28, 2015 05:27AM
Wild Rose. Probably Jeremy's sled.

Re: Glenwood City FFA Alumni 5th Annual Pull August 03, 2015 11:21AM
Change to the Truck classes. The Open class will be an 8000 lb class and the Stock class will be 8500 lbs. Seems to be the "normal" for all of the other pulls and what the Open trucks are built for and this way we have more cushion for the stock trucks to weigh more and to allow more people to hook hopefully. Thanks for looking!

Thanks for posting the rules saved us all a trip to your pull!!!

Re: Glenwood City FFA Alumni 5th Annual Pull August 25, 2015 09:05AM
Looks like your keeping some good running tractors out of your hot farm with rules 3 and 9. Weights are a bit heavy also.

Re: Glenwood City FFA Alumni 5th Annual Pull August 25, 2015 11:37AM
Those tractors can run open class then.

Re: Glenwood City FFA Alumni 5th Annual Pull August 25, 2015 12:57PM
Rules have been posted due to many calls asking to be seen. Your negativity is not needed nor a concern. If you do not like what you see then make a positive comment or please stay off from posting. This is an event to raise money for the FFA. Be positive and support them.

Re: Glenwood City FFA Alumni 5th Annual Pull August 26, 2015 09:46AM
Of course it's good, anyone who has complaints is told to get lost, apparently. lol

Re: Glenwood City FFA Alumni 5th Annual Pull August 26, 2015 03:50PM
Not bitching not complaining just made an observation in the rules knowing the tractors in the area that run hot farm have P pumps and no hydraulics/pto. They can do what they want it's their pull sorry everyone got all whipped up.

Re: Glenwood City FFA Alumni 5th Annual Pull September 02, 2015 02:53PM
so i can run a 570 cockshutt in 5500 farm class

Re: Glenwood City FFA Alumni 5th Annual Pull September 03, 2015 02:46AM
The cockshutt 570 is a 60hp tractor. It will have to be in the 7000. Thank you.

Re: Glenwood City FFA Alumni OPEN 9000 CLASS MONEY!!! September 03, 2015 09:56AM
The open 9000 lb class will be $500 for first place!!!! Hope to see you there!!

Re: Glenwood City FFA Alumni 5th Annual Pull September 03, 2015 02:01PM
52.25 Drawbar, 60.84 belt horse power off of tractor data nebraska testing, so where are you coming up with 60 hp

Re: Glenwood City FFA Alumni 5th Annual Pull September 03, 2015 04:31PM
Just go and pull in the class they tell you to. They use a nebraska test book also. Whichever it says in their particular book for H.P. or rpm's is what they will use for everyone. Sorry if you are the one who fell thru the loophole but do you have to go thru this at every pull you go to? I bet not, so then just let this be one of the rare pulls where your tractor falls through the loophole. It has happened to all of us at least once. It sucks, but don't make a big scene about it...it's just not gonna get you any place.

Re: Glenwood City FFA Alumni 5th Annual Pull September 06, 2015 05:39AM
Are you planning to rate them off the belt, engine, drawbar or PTO? Because if you look at drawbar and pto a 460 is under 50, but the c221 was rated at 62 hp at the crankshaft. I'm assuming you would let a 460 run 5500 but not a 560?

Re: Glenwood City FFA Alumni 5th Annual Pull September 06, 2015 03:15PM
Your heavy hot farm class has to be looked at you are putting a normal hot farm tractor that runs a p pump at 1200 hp in open with multiple charger's that can put out 3000 hp not a good deal you will loose alot of good pullers to help put on a good show for you guys heavy hot has always been like pro farm you will allow some p pumps but not all come on guys get with it .

Re: Glenwood City FFA Alumni 5th Annual Pull September 06, 2015 03:32PM
What multiple chargers guys are going to pull? Buck up or stay home.

Re: Glenwood City FFA Alumni 5th Annual Pull September 07, 2015 02:58AM
Big words from the tuff guy who pulls alone most nights at brush pulls

Re: Glenwood City FFA Alumni 5th Annual Pull September 07, 2015 03:17AM
Some guys just don't get it I'm not complaining I'm just saying you can't expect people to drive for 3 to 4 hrs and than you put them in a class that they don't have a chance in to compete. I myself ha a A pump tractor so I could care less but its suppose to be a benefit pull for ffa and half the pro farm tractors at not coming so BM maybe you should get your facts write before you talk stupid on a computer

Re: Glenwood City FFA Alumni 5th Annual Pull September 07, 2015 04:18AM
I so sorry, Nameless keyboarders, I'll be pulling in the open class with all the multi charger guys, and you?

Re: Glenwood City FFA Alumni 5th Annual Pull September 07, 2015 09:27AM
I just take my alcohol tractor in there and kick all your asses

Re: Glenwood City FFA Alumni 5th Annual Pull September 07, 2015 09:53AM
Brian I never meant to offend you . you have a sweet running case but there is no comparison in a alcohol tractor like yours and a pro farm tractor I just meant if some of the p pump tractors can run let all pro farm in the hot farm sorry for getting you all worked up !!!!

Re: Glenwood City FFA Alumni 5th Annual Pull September 07, 2015 11:29AM
Just sick of all the whining, I would like to meet the pullers coming 4 hours to this pull, if you want a class just for you than put on a pull. It takes a lot of work, and they can't have a class for everybody to win. I'm glad there is a class to pull in and appreciate the people that put these pulls on. And to "Tuff Guy" you know who I am so lets have us a chat on Friday night.

Re: Glenwood City FFA Alumni 5th Annual Pull September 07, 2015 12:40PM
We go by the Nebraska test book. But I did see the info about the cockshutt on tractor data. We go by the pto hp. So the belt will count as that. To Blackstack 460, you are correct in saying a 560 will not be allowed in the 5500 farm but can pull in the 5750 hot. Also there won't be any 460's in the 4500. We are putting this pull on to raise money to be used to help the kids. We hope to see people come to have fun and have a good time. Thank you in advance incase I don't get a chance to tell you the night of the pull.

Re: Glenwood City FFA Alumni 5th Annual Pull September 08, 2015 02:06PM
Hot Farm Classes.
Will you "BE" checking anyone for "WORKING" PTO & Hydraulics ???
What class will you put them in if you don't have the above??
Thanks

Re: Glenwood City FFA Alumni 5th Annual Pull September 11, 2015 12:44AM
Today is the day! Bring out your warm clothes and come join us in raising money for the FFA! Can't wait to see everyone!
