I do not think Loyd King ever pulled a Cockshutt 50. I know he has a couple of 570's that he pulls. Sorry to hear he is selling all
his stuff.

loyd is just wanting to build something bigger llss if they had one in ohio and fuzzy shirl at one time pulled an old 570 i use to have in 0rvtpa just changed the sheet metal his old turbo gas 50 used to be one of my favorites when i was young that is why ive always been into cockshutts

Re: looking for cockshutt puller September 29, 2011 02:29PM
I would think that a Cockshutt 570 would be a good choice for the LLSS. It starts out at 340 ci so you can either go up in ci and run single charger or decube and run twins. I know the gas head for the 570 really flows well.

Someone thinks they are funny, Lloyd King isnt selling his tractor.

Re: looking for cockshutt puller September 30, 2011 01:22PM
Glad to hear Loyd is not selling his tractors. I have known Loyd a long time and I know he really enjoyed pulling. I have not talked to or seen Loyd in a long time.

I do 2 Cockshutt 570 one I bought from Dick Payne in Grand Island Nebraska in 1977. The other one I got from Shirley in 2001 (originally owned by Burl Rigsby of Tennessee) . I have not pulled them in a long as I travel a lot for (I am in India right now so please do not call). I hope to get them out one day in the LLSS as that is the way they are set up.

yes his name is fuzz scherle he pulled that tractor all over ky parts of tn we had lots of fun pulling against guys like randy pane 4010, kent anderson wd 45, childs play ac 180 or 185 can not remember his name lots of guys with 460 560 int fuzz still has the 50 and may bring it back out and repower it

Re: looking for cockshutt puller October 02, 2011 11:35AM
Yes that's correct. Fuzz is well known in certain circles. Some would even call him infamous. But he is a REAL puller. He never quits. I understand that one of his secrets is a guy named Whitey, or as some of his pals call him," KAG".
