are they any good January 06, 2016 01:11PM
anyone ever look at using a Hesston or one of them there foreign tractors from the eighties

Re: are they any good January 07, 2016 08:56AM
I'd say your biggest issue is availability of after market parts as well as the price of oem parts there's a reason 75% of the pulling tractors out there are red or green just my two cents

Re: are they any good January 07, 2016 10:38AM
The reason most are red and green as they can go and but there parts. The guys running other colors get me respect more as there not all cookie cutters, they have to do there own work not make a phone call

Re: are they any good January 07, 2016 11:05AM
the fiat engines hestons used are good engines

Re: are they any good January 07, 2016 11:15AM
I've always wondered the same thing. The Fiat 494 would be right near the limit for the LSS class. Does the block have enough meat to go much bigger?

In my opinion they're so ugly that they almost look good. I'd love to see what someone could do with one (both for looks and performance). I guess I'll always cheer for the odd brands (as long as they're real, and not just a BBJD in sheep's clothing).

This page is a free service. The cost is covered out of my pocket. It takes a great deal of time and a fair amount of money to keep this website going. Donations for: photos, classified ads, forum discussion, etc... are appreciated.

Side Note: We are no longer accepting PayPal donations. They have changed their terms of service and stated they would fine PayPal users for spreading "misinformation" and "hate, violence, racial or other forms of intolerance that is discriminatory". PayPal did not provide definitions for some of these vague terms. Woke corporate policies regarding "misinformation" could result in an automatic fine of $2,500 which would have been removed directly from the customer’s PayPal account. PayPal did backdown from some of their policies but quietly implemented portions of them in later terms of service. A financial institute has no right to monitor social media accounts or speech. This is unacceptable and I'll no longer do business with PayPal.
