We are having a new class for those who may have "mild to wild" sitting in their sheds with no place to play. Well bring them out if you can fit into these rules. This class was put together by the complete member body. Anyone that showed up at the meeting got to put their ideas into making this class. Altered Antique 5500# & 5700# 1. 18.4x38 tires. tires can be turned backward on Blacktop. Radials or cut tires are all legal. 2. Can use any engine that bolts up without modifications. Engine must be natural aspirated, can run on gas, Lp, or diesel with no cubic inch limits or compression limits. 3000 rpm limit. Gas engines are limited to any single barrel updraft carburetor. Diesel may run any fuel system. (No Turbos) 3. Make and Model must have begun production by 1958 to be considered altered antique. 4. Torque amplifiers are legal to use. 5. 20" drawbar height, with no closer than 18" from the center of the axel. 6. All must have a kill switch, wheelie Bars, tie bars, and choice of steel flywheel, scatter blanket, or a steel plate 1/4" thick and 6" wide around the circumference of the flywheel. 7. 6mph pace on dirt, and 8 mph on Blacktop. It is promoters choice to use either pace board or pace tractor. So if you like what you see here and have any questions, get ahold of one of the members to direct your question to the right person.
