intake port dividers on SBJD head

Wanted to get some opinions and thoughts of port dividers that are installed in the 55 series and 8.1 heads. Has any one seen any gains or losses from these. This seems to be one of the things the head/port guys do when doing up a head |

Spend your money on pump, injectors, and turbo. Manifolds are chicken feed. |

Marine intake mounts turbo in front or engine. |

Are you talking about the port deviders were your head bolts are? |

No I've seen and heard of heads that have dividers welded in the intake ports, that would make a individual runner for each intake valve. |

Everyone I talked says they will give you more torque on the bottom end. Phil at Riverside says people use them because they don't know how to port a head.
I have seen some of Phil's head with and without them. I think it really depends on set up. |
